Southampton City gallery: Barry Flanagan hare bronzes.

Two hare bronze casts as found at Southampton city gallery, UK. The sculptor is Barry Flanagan. The top work is 'Leaping Hare' and dates from 1980. The bottom one is titled 'Anvil' and dates from 1981.
The two paintings were painted from life in the gallery during December 2023, and are done in oils on mounting board sized at 12 x 9.5".

East st Southampton edwin jones crane Davey

This street view from within Southampton shows East Street looking towards the High Street, with Queensway cutting across the view. On the right side can be seen the empty Debenhams building, opened in 1959 (as Edwin Jones) and shut since 2020. The crane is deployed on the Bargate building project which can be seen rising behind the hoardings.
Painted on a Sunday morning (12/05/24) in oils on cardboard, sized at 12 x 9.5".

church spire Salisbury cathedral painting

Salisbury Cathedral spire as seen from a nearby 'town path' in a green part of the city. The building dates from 1220 and the spire (Britain's tallest) was finished around 1330. It is situated in the county of Wiltshire. The old tree and fence add character to the scene.
Painted during a pleasant morning on mounting board sized at 12 x 9.5", using oils.
