Head painting exercise - 'Blakes 7' set 02

Blakes 7, a popular television series from 1978 -81 featured a number of popular characters. This further selection features top left, Commander Servalan, top right, Olag Gan, bottom left, Cally, bottom right, Space Commander Travis.
Each on is done in oils on cardboard sized at 12" x 9.5", during spring 2024.

'Workmate'

I share an old dilapidated space with fellow artists as our studio. During 2024 I did a series of paintings of things/ interiors within the space, all painted from life, allaprima. 

This is a 'workmate' set up upon the first floor, with sawdust and a plastic bag on the floor.
9.5 x 12" oil on cardboard.

Head painting exercise - 'The Champions'

This set of portraits are characters from 'The Champions', a series broadcast in the UK between 1968 - 69, and made by ITC, a company who produced quite a few similar series.
It is listed as a spy thriller/science fiction/ detective fiction series. Shown are the four main characters (upper left) Craig Stirling, (upper right) Sharron Macready, (lower left) Tremayne, (below right) Richard Barrett.
