Salisbury Cathedral spire as seen from a nearby 'town path' in a green part of the city. The building dates from 1220 and the spire (Britain's tallest) was finished around 1330. It is situated in the county of Wiltshire. The old tree and fence add character to the scene.
Painted during a pleasant morning on mounting board sized at 12 x 9.5", using oils.
