This view shows the outer part of Totton, Hampshire. The city of Southampton would be off to the right. The river is the Test looking upstream, with the viewer positioned at  Goatee Beach, part of the small village of Eling on the banks of the river. The weather was very variable at the time with some small rain showers, as seen by the threatening clouds.
