This picture shows the progression of a small, 10" x 12" painting of two boats resting on mudflats at Eling, near to the River Test, Hampshire. The painting was done in acrylics and took less than a day to do, based on a photograph  I had taken a few months earlier, though I did remove a third boat from the scene as it was a bit cramped. A proper photograph of the boat paint will be taken in due course.
