Pig painting work in progress stages
This photo shows an oil painting of a pig in stages. The first stage shows a drawing created with acrylic paint on a red ground (B/W here for clarity).The second stage is where a basic acrylic colour base is applied. Some times I have used oil paint at this stage and sometimes I skip this stage completely. The Final stage is the actual painting done in oil paint, applied quite thickly. |
