This painting shows a scene at
Hengistbury Head, near to Christchurch in Dorset, on the south coast
of the UK. A boat, one of many at the location, is under cover and
out of use on this hot summers day. The beach looks on to
Christchurch bay, with the town on the other side. In the back ground
of this painting can be seen Mudeford, a small town on the suburbs of
Christchurch.
The painting is done in acrylics on
stretched paper, to a size of 16” x 12” during mid March 2017, and can be seen here.
