Sheds on allotments at Southampton
In the Bitterne area of Southampton is
an allotment well hidden, situated near to the River Itchen, and has
a railway line at the foot of it. I have produced one painting of the
location to date and this is the second, showing various plots
populated with a shed and bins and other paraphernalia associated
with growing vegetables, during spring.
The painting is done in oils on a 20”
x 16” canvas board, during July 2014.
