Head painting exercise - 'Vintage Coronation Street' 03

A further set of famous characters from a very early 1970's Coronation Street, a soap opera first started in 1960 and still running on ITV. The video source was from 2" video as found on You Tube which account for the softness. All the paintings are done in oils on cardboard, sized at 9.5" x 12", and done at various points during early to late summer 2023.

Blakes 7, a popular television series from 1978 -81 featured a number of popular characters. This further selection features top left, Commander Servalan, top right, Olag Gan, bottom left, Cally, bottom right, Space Commander Travis.
Each on is done in oils on cardboard sized at 12" x 9.5", during spring 2024.

Head painting exercise - 'The Champions'

This set of portraits are characters from 'The Champions', a series broadcast in the UK between 1968 - 69, and made by ITC, a company who produced quite a few similar series.
It is listed as a spy thriller/science fiction/ detective fiction series. Shown are the four main characters (upper left) Craig Stirling, (upper right) Sharron Macready, (lower left) Tremayne, (below right) Richard Barrett.

Head painting exercise - 'Carnival Row'

Carnival row is a fantasy series from Amazon. First season aired in 2019 with the second and final season appearing in 2023. The series takes place in a landscape populated by humans and mythological beings, 
Shown here are (top left) Rycroft "Philo" Philostrate, (top right) Vignette Stonemoss, (bottom left) Agreus Astrayon, (bottom right) Tourmaline Larou.
Each one is painted on cardboard (12 x 9.5") in oils during spring 2024.

A selection of further characters from the long running and popular 'The Walking Dead' TV series.
The characters shown are Enid (top left), Jadis (top right), Negan (bottom left), Jesus (bottom right). Each painting is done in oils, mainly in one sitting, on cardboard sized at 12" x 9.5". Painted late 2022/ mid 2023.
